about

This album contains songs and other material derived from chord sequences and melodies that occur in 'The Man Who Cycled To The Moon' ( which is why it was originally released under that name on Dead Elvis Records in 1999 )

Also released on Farpoint Recordings in 2006.

credits

released October 1, 1999

All tracks by Alan Lambert. Recorded between 1990 and 1994, mostly on 8-Track in the basement studio, 147 Parnell Street, Dublin, Ireland.

Track 1 is inspired by dialogue from 'The Ren and Stimpy Show' and quotations from Pablo Picasso. Track 3 is inspired by J. M. Barrie's 'Peter Pan' and Barbara Tuchman's 'A Distant Mirror, The Calamitous 14th Century'. Monologues read by Mary Purcell, Rhonwen Hayes and Groucho Marx. Drums by Marc Carolan.

Thanks to Noam Chomsky, WIlliam Shakespeare, Eamonn Doyle for his help with Chomsky, and The Wormholes for their ambience on Track 6.
